Funny post to start the New year with but.....

I had to! Boston Creme is one of my weaknesses when I'm actually inside a Dunkin Donuts (which isn't often) so it was too funny that it was the result of this funny quiz. Even funnier that it describes me pretty well. And I figured it was better to post this before my "ways I'm going to improve in the new year" post

You Are a Boston Creme Donut

You have a tough exterior. No one wants to mess with you.
But on the inside, you're a total pushover and completely soft.
You're a traditionalist, and you don't change easily.
You're likely to eat the same doughnut every morning, and pout if it's sold out.

Dunkin Donuts has recently arrived (with a vengence, in 3 different locations) here in VA. I try to avoid it at all costs :)

Kate, did you ever get my info on the labyrinth in Mpls/St. Paul?
My computer is in a major state of disarray and I'm trying to sort everything out...

I did not get the info on the labyrinth, and my friend would like to know where it is. Thanks!

Sorry. Glad I asked.
Anyway, both indoor and outdoor labyrinths are on the campus of the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. Go to Then click on "labyrinth events" on the left side of the page. On that page, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on "labyrinth resources".
The outdoor one might even be available now as we have no snow cover. It is just lovely in the summer with lush green grass under your feet. Looks like they've expanded the hours of the indoor one. They are even having a Labyrinth Festival this summer (I might have to check that out myself.)
As I go into the labyrinth, on each turn I contemplate something I want to give up, like fear. Then when I get to the center, I pause to reflect on the feeling of total emptiness. As I head back out, with each turn I think of something I want to take on, like hope, trust, or a sense of wellbeing - that way, when I exit I'm all set to go.
My best wishes to your friend.

Thanks! I passed the info along to her, and she appreciated it.
